The Balderschwang ski area is located in a high valley in the Oberallgäu region. From the German side, Balderschwang can only be reached via the Riedberg Pass (1,420 m) from Obermaiselstein, or via Oberstaufen and a short stretch through the Bregenzerwald. From Austria, you can arrive through the Bregenzerwald and Hittisau. Parking at the Schelpenbahn is free of charge. At the Riedbergerhornbahn and directly in the village of Balderschwang, parking is subject to a fee. Here, you need to purchase a parking ticket.
