The fully automated snowmaking system at Arber is among the most modern in Germany. All snow cannons are interconnected via a central control system at the valley station. This allows for optimal skiing conditions to be created within a short time whenever temperatures are below freezing. As the highest ski area in the Bavarian Forest, Arber, in combination with the modern snowmaking system, offers a very high level of snow reliability.
