Alta offers several beautiful accommodations located directly on the slopes: Alta Lodge, Alta's Rustler Lodge, Snowpine Lodge, and Goldminer's Daughter Lodge. The Alta Peruvian Lodge is situated right next to the ski area. Half board or all-inclusive options are often available here.
Alternatively, the metropolitan area around Salt Lake City offers overnight accommodations. From Salt Lake City, it’s only about a 40-minute drive to the ski area. From Sandy and Cottonwood Heights in Salt Lake County, it’s just about 25 minutes. The drive to the ski area takes you along a mountain road through Little Cottonwood Canyon.
