Description Alpenpark Neuss

You can ski 365 days a year not only on the glaciers, but also right in the heart of Germany – Alpenpark Neuss was Germany’s first indoor ski hall, offering daily powder snow, -3°C, and hot beats.

Three modern lifts, a four-seater chairlift, and two platter lifts can transport up to 5,000 people uphill per hour. However, only a maximum of 500 people are allowed in the hall at any one time, ensuring there are no waiting times at the lifts.

Separated from the 300-meter-long and 60-meter-wide slope, there is a beginner’s area on the right, equipped with a magic carpet (conveyor belt).

The children’s and beginner slopes have a gradient of 10% to 15%. The upper slope, with a proud 28% gradient, gets every winter sports enthusiast’s heart racing.

Of the two parallel platter lifts, the right lift (Blue Mountain) ends halfway up, so you can access the easier parts of the slope for practice. The left platter lift (Red Mountain) goes almost to the end of the ski hall.

If you don’t want to ski or snowboard, there’s also a toboggan run in the hall, located below the four-seater chairlift. Twelve snow cannons mounted on the ceiling provide fresh powder snow every night.

The spacious changing rooms and free lockers are a great advantage. You can rent everything you need in the ski hall, from skis to snowboards.

There’s plenty of food and drink available. There are seven restaurants, including the self-service restaurant Jausenstadl, the à la carte restaurant Salzburger Hochalm, and the rustic Hasenstall. In the afternoon, Viva invites you to après-ski with a view of the ski slope. In summer, there’s even a beer garden with an adventure playground and a high ropes course.
