The Alpe Lusia ski area can be fully covered with efficient snowmaking machines. Most of the slopes are located above 1800 m. The valley station Castelir is at 1550 m and the valley station Ronchi at 1370 m. The slope to Ronchi is entirely on the shady side and is therefore usually open from the first to the last day.
