The South Tyrolean ski resort Seiser Alm is located at the western gateway to the Dolomites, northeast of Bolzano. Large gondola lifts lead up to Seiser Alm from Seis am Schlern and St. Ulrich in Grödnertal (Val Gardena). The gondola lifts are about 20 km from the Brenner motorway. In Seis am Schlern, parking is free of charge. Additionally, there is a paid parking garage. In St. Ulrich, only paid parking is available at the valley station. The high plateau of Seiser Alm can also be reached by road. However, the road is closed to private traffic from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Hotel guests on Seiser Alm receive a special driving permit.
