Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Snow-reliable rating Alagna Valsesia/Gressoney-La-Trinité/Champoluc/Frachey (Monterosa Ski)
In Alagna, an average of over 450 cm of snow falls annually—at 1,380 m. In the higher elevations, there is significantly more, but yearly fluctuations are considerable. To counteract the occasional lack of natural snow, a gigantic snowmaking system has been installed, capable of covering almost all slopes. Thanks to the high altitude (the valley stations in Stafal are at 1,830 m), the ski season lasts well into spring. On weekends, operations continue until early May.
