1/2 Prarion-Plan du Fou
The 8-seater cable car Prarion-Plan du Fou connects Prarion directly with Plan du Fou. This approximately triples the transport capacity on this important connecting axis within the ski area. A special feature of the new 8-seater gondola: it shares the mountain station and the cabins with the 8-seater gondola Siviez.
The 8-seater gondola Prarion-Plan du Fou replaces the journeys between Prarion and Plan du Fou previously made with the Plan du Fou aerial tramway and the Les Fontaines drag lift. The old aerial tramway has been dismantled, but the drag lift remains in operation. A special feature of the new 8-seater gondola Prarion-Plan du Fou is its connection with the 8-seater cable car Siviez. Both lifts share the mountain station at Plan du Fou as well as the cabins, making it possible to travel continuously from Prarion via Plan du Fou to Siviez and vice versa. In addition, Nendaz is now connected to the other parts of the 4 Vallées ski area for less advanced skiers without the need for bus transfers, thanks to this lift system.
