Since June 2009, the Dolomites region Drei Zinnen has been part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage. Great importance is placed on the ski buses that connect the entire Dolomites region Drei Zinnen. Traveling by train is also actively promoted. Therefore, a new train station was built directly at the valley station in Vierschach for the 2014/2015 season. The ski area is operated with "Green Energy" from South Tyrolean hydropower.
