Certain lifts on Pass Thurn, Jochberg and Kitzbueheler Horn are still on the list for modernisation.

The season normally begins already in November. The record was set on 17.10.2009 with one slope on the Resterhöhe. The convenient Northwest barrier on the Alpenhauptkamm ensures good snow reliability. Comprehensive snow-making and grooming guarantees first-class skiing. Almost all slopes are completely equipped with snow cannons. On the Streif, the Seidlalm reservoir (new in 2010/2011), with approx. 150,000 m3 capacity, provides snow security down to Kitzbuehel.

The slope preparation is excellent.
Top slope grooming and perfect preparation of the artificial snow guarantee first-class fun on the slopes.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.

Orientation (trail map, information boards, sign-postings)
Trail map and overview maps:
The trail map covers the complete ski resort. The slopes are easy to recognise. It is not possible to tell exactly which type of lift is depicted.
Information boards and sign-postings on the slopes:
The sign postings lead the guests exactly to their desired location. Infotainment screens are available throughout the ski resort for guests. Safety information, current snow and weather conditions, open slopes and orientation aids are shown on these screens. The lifts are marked well and consistently with numbers. A slope guidance system from one side of the ski resort to the other would be helpful.
The level of cleanliness is excellent and exemplary.
Environmentally friendly ski operation
An extensive ski bus system, a direct train connection as well as signs regarding the protection of the forest are to be commended.
