Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Garmisch-Classic – Garmisch-Partenkirchen
A quarter of the runs in the Garmisch-Classic ski area are marked as difficult. The long valley runs, especially the 3,500 m Kandahar run, challenge advanced skiers. Here you'll also find the "Freier Fall" (92% gradient, bypass available), the steepest section of the Alpine Ski World Cup. When snow conditions are right, freeriders will find what they're looking for at Osterfelderkopf, Hochalm, Längenfelderbahn, and Bernadeinlift.
