This former world-renowned Siemens Health Resort has made way for a 4-star Resort equipped with all modern comforts and facilities. The still futuristic looking building which has the largest Shake roof in Europe, lies in the middle of the impressive Bayerischer Wald, close to the charming little village of Habischried.

The Sandton Resort Bavarian Forest is only 2 km from the Geisskopf ski lifts. More than 70 km of cross country tracks start next to the hotel. After a sportive day you can relax in the Sankt-Hubertus-Bar or in the Aspen Lounge in the upper floor with open fireplace. The hotel is very friendly to children. There is an own childrens buffet, Teenie Lounge, as well as 2 cinema rooms. The breakfast, as well as the delicious dinner is served in the restaurant. The rooms are completly renovated for the opening ot the hotel on the 18th December 2010 and they offer a nice view to the Bavarian Forest and the Geisskopf.
