Zermatt, Breuil-Cervinia, and Valtournenche are very well suited for families and children.

Zermatt is family- and child-friendly and offers great deals. Children under 9 years old ski for free. Young skiers up to the age of 15 receive a 50 percent discount and can also ski for free every Saturday. At Sunnegga, there is the large Wolli beginner park, and at Riffelberg, there is also a large beginner park or children's area. The Slow Slopes are also ideal for families. These are very wide, easy, and skiing fast is not allowed. This makes the whole family feel safe. You can find Slow Slopes at Sunnegga, Gornergrat, and Schwarzsee.

Children's area Breuil-Cervinia

The children's area with a conveyor belt and playgrounds is located directly in the valley in Breuil-Cervinia at the Cretaz chairlift. The ski school "Scuola Sci del Cervino" offers not only ski courses for children but also a "Kid Zone." If the children are still too young to ski, they can play in the large children's playground in the snow.
