1/38 Ski slopes Zermatt/Breuil-Cervinia/Valtournenche – Matterhorn
The Swiss-Italian ski area with the resorts of Zermatt, Breuil-Cervinia, and Valtournenche offers an outstanding selection of slopes and endless runs for all levels of difficulty.
In Zermatt, the slopes are spread across the high-alpine terrain at Rothorn, Blauhorn, Sunnegga, Findeln, Stockhorn, Hohtälli, Gornergrat, Riffelberg, and Riffelalp. The glacier slopes are located in the Matterhorn glacier paradise and stretch from the Klein Matterhorn over the Theodul Glacier to Trockener Steg. The slopes lead back down to Zermatt via Schwarzsee and Furi. Most of the slopes offer breathtaking views of the Matterhorn.
On the Italian side, the slopes are spread across the high-alpine terrain at Theodul Pass, Cime Bianche, Plan Maison, and Salette in the Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche areas.
Most of the slopes are above the tree line; only the runs down to Zermatt, Eja, Furi, Stafel, and Valtournenche lead through forest clearings. Thanks to perfect grooming and mostly wide slopes, skiing here is especially enjoyable.
