This winter sports area, set against the backdrop of the famous 7 Churfirsten, mainly offers sporty slopes for carvers, but beginners will also find suitable runs. Between Oberdorf and Freienalp, Switzerland’s mostThe Wildhaus ski area covers the slopes of Gamserrugg (2,076 m) in Toggenburg. This winter sports area, set against the backdrop of the famous 7 Churfirsten, mainly offers sporty slopes for carvers, but beginners will also find suitable runs. Between Oberdorf and Freienalp, Switzerland’s most modern family lift provides access to easy slopes and a fantastic Klang slope. For action-hungry families, there are 3 fun parks with simple and intermediate obstacles. In the Wildhaus ski area, about 1 hour’s drive from Zurich and Lake Constance, you’ll also find other winter sports activities such as snowshoe trails, a toboggan run, cross-country ski trails, and winter hiking paths.
