Slope offering, variety of runs at the ski resort Vitosha/Aleko – Sofia
The ski area around Aleko in the Vitosha Mountains offers slopes for all levels of difficulty. Skiing above Sofia is a special experience. Since Sofia’s local mountain starts right at the gates of the capital, you have an impressive view of the city. The slopes below Cherni Vrah (2,292 m), the highest peak of the Vitosha Mountains, are located above the tree line. The lower slopes lead through forested areas. Night skiing is also very popular here.
