The ski area at Vigiljoch practices gentle tourism and is located in a protected landscape area. The slopes are only opened when there is sufficient snow. The Vigilius Mountain Resort was the first hotel in South Tyrol to receive the "KlimaHaus A" award. Environmental protection is of great importance at Vigiljoch.
