In the Via Lattea ski area, there are slopes for every level of difficulty and in a variety of landscapes. You will find both treeless alpine meadows, gentle runs through larch forests, as well as sections with evergreen conifers. Almost everywhere, you can also enjoy very long descents from the summit all the way down to the valley.

Longest run
- Monte Fraiteve - Sansicario Pariol · Length 7 km · Elevation difference 1100 m
From Monte Fraiteve, you can ski all the way down to Pariol, the mid-station of the Cesana Ski Lodge gondola, on easy and intermediate slopes without interruption.
Most difficult run
- Slope 32 La Motta in Sestriere · Length 0.8 km · Elevation difference 320 m
The descent leads from the mountain station to the valley station of the La Motta drag lift.
Slope tip
- La Croce No. 93 to Cesana
From Colle Bercia take the red slope 93 and then descend to Cesana via the black slope Croce. - Gran Pista in Sauze d'Oulx
The Gran Pista leads from Sportinia, moderately difficult, through open larch forest down to Jouvenceaux. - Pista Kandahar Sises Gianni Agnelli
Championships have already been held on the Pista Kandahar Sises Gianni Agnelli in Sestrière, including the slalom of the 1997 Ski World Championships and the Olympic slalom in 2006. Night skiing also takes place under the floodlights.
Suggested routes through ski resort
- Giro della Vialattea: either from Sauze d'Oulx OR Pragelato over Monte Fraiteve towards Cesana and Clavière, then over to Montgenèvre and back again on a varied route – the exact route with the necessary slopes and lifts can be found on the back of the piste map. Entry is also possible at other points.
