Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Via Lattea – Sestriere/Sauze d’Oulx/San Sicario/Claviere/Montgenèvre
In the Via Lattea ski area, advanced skiers will get their money's worth. Most of the runs are very long, and there are also many black slopes. The Olympic runs in Sestrière and Sansicario are, of course, a must, as are the descents from the summit of Monte Sises and Monte Motta. In Montgenèvre, there are some challenging slopes on the north side of the valley (Serre Thibaud, Col de l'Alpet, and Chalvet). There is plenty of open ski terrain above the tree line everywhere.
- very many freeride/deep snow areas
- some mogul slopes
Total
| Difficult | 84 km (21 %) |

The descent leads from the mountain station to the valley station of the La Motta drag lift.
General note: Always mind the avalanche warnings and barriers, please. Never ski into a closed and unsecured area.
