Due to its altitude, the ski area is very snow-sure from the mountain station of the gondola lift (Gadastatt 1809 m) upwards. There is usually plenty of natural snow. The slopes of the Glarr drag lift and the Kleinvalser Arena are also equipped with snowmaking. The black valley run from Gadastatt to Vals is not equipped with snowmaking.
