Gröden, with its three villages (St. Christina/S. Cristina, St. Ulrich/Ortisei, Wolkenstein/Selva Gardena), is nestled in the Dolomites. Arriving from the north is recommended via the Brenner motorway, exit Klausen-Gröden. From the south, leave the Brenner motorway at the Bozen Nord exit. From the Brenner motorway, it takes about 20-30 minutes via a mountain road to reach the Val Gardena and the valley stations of the lifts. Unfortunately, almost all parking spaces are subject to a fee.
Gröden can also be easily and affordably reached by bus transfers from the airports of Milano Malpensa (Milan), Bergamo Orio al Serio (near Milan), Verona Valerio Catullo, Munich, and Innsbruck several times a day.
