The Tanzboden ski area is located above Ebnat-Kappel in Toggenburg. The ski operations are especially geared towards families. Night skiing is also available. For refreshments, there is the Skistübli by the slope as well as a kiosk at the Dicken valley station. From here, a variant descent leads down to the village, which is neither marked nor controlled. The Tanzboden winter sports area also serves as a starting point for ski tours.
