Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Tänndalen
The Tänndalen ski area also offers advanced skiers exciting challenges—with a variety of intermediate to difficult slopes and expansive freeride areas away from the groomed runs. Impressive panoramic views accompany every descent. A special highlight is the “Freeride Paradise” in Svansjön, where powder runs among the mountain birches provide a unique nature experience.
Hamra Syd (located on the opposite mountain slope), on the other hand, is all about authenticity: an area without lifts and groomed slopes, creating ideal conditions for ski touring and off-piste adventures in untouched landscapes.
