The Tänndalen ski resort is one of the larger ski areas in Sweden. Chairlifts as well as numerous drag and platter lifts provide access to slopes of all levels of difficulty. Thanks to the many easy runs, the ski area is very popular with families and beginners. In addition to alpine skiing, there is also access to the extensive network of cross-country trails. The Tänndalen winter sports area is located just under 12 kilometers from the Norwegian border.
