Access, Parking Banff Sunshine

The Sunshine Village ski resort is located in the heart of Banff National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It is just over 1.5 hours from Calgary and about 15 minutes from Banff. From the Trans Canada Highway, you can reach the base station of the Sunshine Village Gondola within a few minutes. There is ample free parking available. If you have to park a bit further from the gondola, you can use the parking shuttle bus. You need a national park pass to drive into Banff National Park by car. The pass can be purchased at the entrances to Banff National Park and at the tourism office in Banff. Anyone found without a pass may be subject to a fine.
