Environmental protection of the ski resort Sun Peaks

At the Sun Peaks ski resort, great importance is placed on environmentally friendly ski operations. Under the motto "Keep it Green," several environmental projects have already been implemented. It is not permitted to ski in the forests outside the ski area boundary. Some closed zones within the ski area boundaries are also off-limits. Only the West Bowl T-Bar is still operated with a diesel engine.

Sun Peaks is the first ski resort in North America with an ISO 14001 certification for environmental protection.
