The Štrbské Pleso ski resort is located in the High Tatras and is easily accessible from the highway. Parking at the valley station is free of charge. During busy times, the parking lot is closed off by a barrier and alternative parking spaces are available. These can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. There is also a ski bus, and for those who prefer something more romantic, a horse-drawn carriage can take you to the ski resort.
