Steckenberg is located in the Ammergau Alps, not far from Unterammergau. The ski area is just 500 meters from the B23 federal road between Peiting and Oberau. From Augsburg and Munich, you can reach Steckenberg in about an hour. Paid parking is available directly at the valley station. There are additional parking spaces a little above the valley station.
