Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG are often and rightly referred to as pioneers of sustainability. With the construction of the second natural reservoir lake, Nair Pitschen, it is possible to operate the technical snowmaking in the ski area using 100% recycled water from snowmelt. With the comprehensive energy project Clean Energy St. Moritz/Engadin, an alpine holiday and sports destination is, for the first time worldwide, consistently committed to the use of renewable energies and efficient energy use. In addition, all cable cars provide information on waste prevention and waste separation. The grooming vehicles on Corviglia are equipped with exhaust particulate filters. Diesel hybrid grooming vehicles are also in use.
