Only easy slopes, no offers for advanced skiersDescription SnowWorld Bispingen
Located in the triangle formed by Hamburg, Hanover, and Bremen, the SnowWorld Bispingen indoor ski hall is conveniently situated on the A7 motorway. If you’re coming from Hamburg, you’ll spot the ski hall just before the Bispingen exit on the left side. The hall’s supports rise up to 60 meters from the ground, and at first glance, it seems as if the ski hall doesn’t have a roof at all. However, it was simply designed so that the modern detachable six-seater chairlift inside the hall doesn’t require any supports. The lift’s rollers are attached to the ceiling, providing much more space for skiing and snowboarding, as there are no supports inside the hall.
Before heading to the slope, you can rent high-quality equipment or recharge at the self-service market restaurant or the Gletscherblick restaurant. Here, you’ll truly feel as if you’ve been transported to Tyrol – with typical Austrian dishes and authentic après-ski just like in Sölden. Of course, there’s also a balcony where non-skiers can venture into the ski hall.
Inside the ski hall, the modern detachable six-seater chairlift with conveyor belt entry runs up the right side to the start of the slope. If there are more visitors, there’s an additional platter lift on the left side that also takes you to the top. Winter sports enthusiasts can then enjoy about 300 meters of easy, wide slope down to the valley. On the left side, there’s a separate practice slope with a wide conveyor belt, making it perfect for practicing your first turns before taking the six-seater chairlift up to the main slope.
There are no toilets or dining facilities directly inside the ski hall, so you’ll need to leave the hall for these amenities. Thanks to the fair time management system, you can leave the hall as often as you like and only pay for the time you actually spend on the slope.
Since October 21, 2006, SnowWorld has offered guaranteed snow, slope fun, après-ski, and fine Austrian cuisine all year round. The hall was only temporarily closed in 2013 for a seven-month renovation.
