Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Environmental protection of the ski resort SNØ
Operating an indoor ski hall requires a lot of energy. The SNØ ski hall is so well insulated that it is considered a so-called plus-energy building. This means that the SNØ ski hall produces more energy than it consumes itself. The surplus energy benefits the region in the form of district heating and district cooling. From an ecological sustainability perspective, around 23% more energy is produced for heating other buildings than is needed for operating the ski hall. The SNØ ski hall is also installing photovoltaic panels on the roof. Additionally, deposit bottles are collected at the entrance to the chairlift.
- Train connection
Lørenskog - No ski buses
