The first and only indoor ski hall in Egypt was opened on March 2, 2017, near Cairo (6th of October City) in the Mall of Egypt. It is also the first indoor ski hall on the African continent. The slopes are served by a platter lift and several conveyor belts for skiing and snowboarding. For families and children, there is a wide range of slides and activities in the snow. You can even see penguins.
