You can easily reach Schatzalp by funicular from Davos-Platz. From Schatzalp, the chairlift takes you up to Strelaberg. To reach the very top of the Schatzalp-Strela winter sports area, the Strelapass, you take the drag lift. The 'Silbervogel', the former connection to the Parsenn ski area, and the Strelagrat drag lift up to 2,500 meters, remain in their slumber. When snow conditions are stable, the gallery at the Felsenweg is cleared. However, the connection from the valley station of the Hauptertäli lift to the Strelapass remains closed and is neither marked nor monitored.

Skiing and snowboarding in the Schatzalp-Strela ski area is relaxed and unhurried. The area is especially popular with children and leisurely skiers and snowboarders.
