Ski lifts at the ski resort Saas-Fee

From Saas-Fee, the Alpin Express, a three-cable circulating gondola lift, takes you up to the ski area in two sections. Afterwards, you can continue with the Metro Alpin, the highest underground funicular railway in the world, reaching up to 3,500 m. In the upper glacier area, only drag lifts transport winter sports enthusiasts to the slopes. On the outskirts of Saas-Fee, the six-person gondola lift Plattjen ascends to the summit of the same name, and the ten-person gondola lift Spielboden (sections 1 and 2) also starts here. From Spielboden, you can take an aerial tramway and a four-seater chairlift up to the glacier drag lifts as well.

The Felskinn aerial tramway (where the video for “Last Christmas” by Wham was filmed) supports the Alpin Express in transporting guests up to the ski area. A highlight in Saas-Fee is the detachable six-seater chairlift Morenia, which serves numerous slopes between Morenia and Felskinn. Another drag lift leads up to Egginerjoch. In the valley area, two drag lifts and three button lifts are mainly used by beginners and children.
