Rustic and attractive mountain huts are distributed throughout the entire ski resort. At the mountain stations of the gondola lifts, you can find larger restaurants with self-service. In general, most restaurants serve regional cuisine. Every weekend, the Bergrestaurant Rinderberg offers traditional entertainment. There are some bars beside the slopes where you can take a break. A drink at the Iglu-Bar in the Gstaad Igloo Village (Iglu-Dorf) adds the finishing touch.

Hornfluh

On the Hornberg at 1,800 m

The Restaurant Hornfluh has a cosy dining area with a fireplace and a beautiful sun terrace. It serves typical Swiss specialities (Käseschnitte (baked cheese on toast/fondue) and home-made pizzas from the pizza oven The menu also includes soups, salads and a wide selection of meat dishes. A large wine list including Swiss and international wines adds the finishing touch.

Restaurant Chemistube

At the mountain station of the St. Stephan 2-person chairlift at 1,380 m

The Chemistube is probably the most rustic mountain hut in the entire ski resort. You can enjoy warm food, home-made dishes and regional specialities all day here. The cosy dining area features lots of old wooden objects. There is a beautiful view into the Simmen Valley from the sun terrace.
