The cabins of the new lift are significantly more spacious than those of its predecessor. Their thoughtful design also allows for the transport of loaded pallets to supply the mountain restaurants, reducing the need for additional trips. The platforms at the stations are at ground level, providing not only more comfort for guests but also increased safety.

The stations of the new lift offer added value in terms of visual and architectural appeal. The main construction material is local wood. A designer glass station cover ensures an innovative appearance. In the valley station, large wooden beams define the interior as well as the west and east facades. The glazed main facade also allows plenty of natural light inside. Highly efficient photovoltaic elements are cleverly integrated into the gabled roof of the valley station. The mid-station of the overall project offers a view of the lift technology. The mountain station, which is then served by the second section Saanenwald-Saanerslochgrat, echoes the architectural style of the valley station.
