Beginners Racines-Giovo (Ratschings-Jaufen)/Malga Calice (Kalcheralm)

Complete beginners can start in the practice areas of the ski schools at the mountain and valley stations of the gondola lift. Private lessons are also offered at the covered conveyor belt at the Jaufenpass.

There are several easy slopes in the ski area. Beginners will find gentle slopes at the Abrahamwiese platter lift next to the valley station. Higher up in the ski area, the easy slope 12b at the Enzian chairlift is well suited for beginners. The Kalcheralm four-seater chairlift serves easy slopes at the Jaufenpass. You can purchase a separate ski pass just for this lift. In this case, access is at the top of the Jaufenpass.

The other slopes are generally of medium difficulty, very wide, and manageable for advanced beginners.
