The evaluation is done as follows

Environmental protection of the ski resort Pfelders (Moos in Passeier)

Pfelders is fully committed to gentle tourism. As a member of the Alpin Pearls, the focus is on gentle mobility, climate and environmental protection, and the preservation of regional culture. Thanks to an innovative traffic concept, only locals and hotel guests are allowed to drive in the village. Shuttle buses handle transportation within Pfelders. In addition, the Pfelders ski area generates energy from hydropower. Overall, much more energy is produced than the entire ski area consumes. Pfelders is also part of the region's largest nature reserve, the Texelgruppe Nature Park.

Public transportation/on-site mobility

  • No direct train connection
  • Ski buses
  • Scheduled buses
  • A scheduled bus service runs regularly between Pfelders and Merano. A local shuttle bus in the village provides transportation, for example, to the practice lift and valley station.
