The Skitube is the fastest and most convenient way to travel from the valley (1125 m) to Perisher Valley (1716 m) and Blue Cow (1893 m). The journey first takes you through a 6.3 km long tunnel to Perisher Valley. Here, you can change trains and continue on to Blue Cow. The cogwheel trains can accommodate up to 225 passengers per train set. The cog railway operates regularly during the ski season. A separate ticket is required for the train. However, this saves you the cost of entry to the national park and the drive on the mountain road. Parking at the valley station in Bullocks Flat is free of charge.
