The Pec pod Sněžkou ski resort is located in the Krkonoše National Park. Therefore, there are very strict regulations in place to protect the environment from ski operations. Leaving the slopes is prohibited. Fences and barriers also make it impossible to leave them. Waste is separated and regional products are served in the mountain huts. The ski bus network in the Černá hora-Pec holiday region is promoted and serves as a model example.
