Pamporovo is located in the south of Bulgaria in the Rhodope Mountains. The ski resort is around 10 kilometres south of Tschepelare (Chepelare), 15 kilometres north of Smoljan (Smolyan) and around 80 kilometres south of Plowdiw (Plovdiv), Bulgaria’s second-biggest city. The nearest motorway, the A1 Sofia-Burgas, is to the north of Plowdiw. The drive from Sofia is around 3 hours. Other distances: Thessaloniki 5 hours, Istanbul 6 hours, Bucharest 6.5 hours and Belgrade 7 hours. There are several entry points. Many car parks are free of charge.Mobility on-site
