For skiing and snowboarding, there are 100 km of slopes available. 26 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,850 and 2,725 m.
From the village of Orcières Merlette at an altitude of 1,850 m, combination lifts and chairlifts provide access to most of the ski area. The slopes on Drouvet (2,655 m) and Col de Freissinières (2,782 m) offer runs for skiing and snowboarding in all levels of difficulty. The winter sports area in the snow-rich Massif des Écrins in the Southern Alps also offers other activities such as tobogganing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating.
