Access, Parking Mt. Norquay – Banff

The Mt. Norquay ski area is located in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It is situated in the province of Alberta, just 8 kilometers from Banff. Calgary is about 140 kilometers away. The ski area is 6 kilometers from the Trans Canada Highway, and there is ample free parking available at the base station. A rather winding and steep mountain road leads up to the parking lots, so it is important to be well prepared and have snow chains in the car. Since the Mount Norquay ski area is located within Banff National Park, a paid park pass is always required. This must be purchased before entering the park.
