Arrival and resort fee to Mt. Buller, no access to Mount Buller Alpine Village for hotel guests, no chairlifts with coversDescription Mt. Buller
After driving through the National Park, you will reach the parking lots about 2 km before Mount Buller Alpine Village. From here, a free shuttle bus (no luggage transport) takes you to the lifts and into the village. Alternatively, you can take the Northside Express directly up into the ski area.
From the village, two detachable six-seater chairlifts take you up to the slopes below Mt. Buller. Additional four- and three-seater chairlifts take you even higher up to the slopes. The four-seater chairlift Summit reaches an altitude of 1,780 m. From the highest point, you can access most of the Mt. Buller ski area.
You should definitely ski down the Wombat Run and then take the chairlift of the same name back up. Now you can enjoy the Northern Slopes. From this side, you can also take the Grimus three-seater chairlift up to the summit.
The Northside Express is a detachable four-seater chairlift that leads directly from the parking lots up into the ski area. The slopes down to the village are easy and pass right by the restaurants and hotels, ending in the center of Mount Buller Alpine Village. After skiing, you should visit one of the bars and round off your ski day.
