Description Mount Seymour

From North Vancouver, you drive up a long road to the base station, which is situated at just over 1,000 meters. Here you’ll find plenty of free parking.

The easy slopes start right from the parking lot and are served by the "Lodge Chair" double chairlift and two covered conveyor belts. To reach the other lifts, you need to push a short distance from the conveyor belts or the "Lodge Chair" to the "Mystery Peak Express" quad chairlift.

Here you’ll find easy to intermediate slopes as well as one of four very long terrain parks for snowboarders, featuring many obstacles and jumps. An easy slope leads over to the highest lift in the area, the "Brockton" double chairlift. This is also the only lift that is not open for night skiing and is not illuminated. From the top, you have a magnificent view of Vancouver. At this short lift, you’ll find two short but very steep runs, a short intermediate slope, and an easy slope. To get back to the base station, you have to take a connecting trail where, if you don’t have enough momentum, you may need to push a bit.

From the top station of the "Mystery Peak Express," you can also ski down to the "Lodge Chair" via the difficult Unicorn run (No. 25). This run is relatively long and leads through dense forest. Beginners can only get back to the "Lodge Chair" from the bottom station of the "Mystery Peak Express" with a bit of pushing. Unfortunately, the lifts in this area are relatively old, so there are often waiting times, especially on weekends and during night skiing.

The ski area is highly recommended for families, but advanced skiers will find less to challenge them here. For refreshments, there is only a cafeteria and a self-service restaurant at the base station.
