Environmental protection of the ski resort Mount Parnassos – Fterolakka/Kellaria

The Parnassos Ski Center is located in the Parnassos National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Greece. As a result, the ski resort pays great attention to the environment, and the park provides a home for many wild animal species, most of which are protected. In addition, the resort relies entirely on natural snow and only opens the slopes when there is sufficient snow. There are 1-2 daily ski bus connections with the Claudatos ski bus company from Athens to the ski area and back. However, in the restaurants, everything is still served in disposable dishes and plastic cups.
