The Mitterdorf ski resort is located in the Bavarian Forest, right on the German-Czech border. For example, the Kißlingerlift is just a few meters from the border with the Czech Republic. The ski resort can be reached in just under an hour via the A3 motorway (Passau–Deggendorf). Paid parking is available for around 800 cars and 20 buses. A large part of the parking spaces is located directly at the slopes near the Almwiesenlift and in the area of the Junior Ski Zirkus. Additional parking is available in the Mitterfirmiansreut district, only about 200 meters from the lifts.
