The evaluation is done as follows
Beginners Marmot Basin – Jasper
Beginners can explore almost the entire Marmot Basin ski area on easy slopes. From all lifts, except for the Knob Chair, easy runs lead down to the valley. At the base station, next to the Caribou Chalet, there is a magic carpet for first attempts. The triple chairlift School House Chair starts right next to the Caribou Chalet and serves half a dozen very easy slopes. Even from the upper lifts, very easy runs such as Easy Street, Basin Run, S-Turns, and Sleepy Hollow lead down to the valley. It hardly gets any better for beginners.
