There are two cross-country skiing areas in Leukerbad. On the one hand, there are various trails in the immediate vicinity of Leukerbad with a total length of 12 km. On the other hand, the Gemmi area at 2,000 m above sea level offers two trails with lengths of 7 km and 10 km. The Gemmi area can be reached by taking the Gemmi cable car from Leukerbad and then the aerial tramway down to Daubensee. The Gemmi is ideal for cross-country skiers who want to enjoy their sport in a natural environment.
