Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Beginners Les Sybelles – Le Corbier/La Toussuire/Les Bottières/St Colomban des Villards/St Sorlin/St Jean d’Arves
The advantage of purpose-built resorts is that the needs of beginners were already taken into account during their planning. For example, La Toussuire offers a particularly large number of easy and wide slopes right in the village, with their own lifts and a separate ski pass for these local lifts (Le Corbier and Saint Sorlin offer a similar arrangement). The ski schools provide lessons in French, German, English, and Italian. Once you have mastered the basics of skiing, almost the entire ski area is open to you, as all resorts except Les Bottières and St Colomban can be reached via easy slopes. It is also nice that especially at higher altitudes, particularly between Tête de Bellard and Chalets d’Olle, there are numerous very gentle slopes.
